From next year all cars who want to travel in Belgium are obliged to have a sticker on their car windscreen to prove that they have paid their road tax. Camera controls will check if motorists have paid.

The sticker will cost probable 60 euro. It can be bought by means of the telephone, the Internet or at the petrol station. The sticker is A legal requirement for all motorists, whether they are Belgians or visitors traveling on holiday. The Belgians will be paid back by a rebate on their road tax.
