This year, the largest naturist association of the Netherlands Zon en Leven has their 60 year old birthday. Zon en Leven were set up during an establishment meeting on the 7th of April 1946. The first area was De Vier Elementen wich is situated into the Loosdrechtse Plassen. In the year of 1947, the area was opened. From that moment, eight areas followed over the whole country. Beside De Vier Elementen, Zon en Leven has still the areas Gravingen, Starnmeer, De Posthoek, De Scharf, De Appelhof, Kuikseind, De Maat and Berkenwoude. The club booklet of May of the association obtain all kinds of memories from the 60 year old history of the naturism in the Netherlands. Beside a club booklet, in the current year all kinds of festivities are going to happen. The Naturist Camping Guide congratulates Zon en Leven with their birthday.
